4th Generation Ryzen seems to still be compatible with AM4 socket since AMD dropped some Zen3 features that may cause incompatibility with AM4.
Fourth Generation Ryzen might be the end of the road for AM4 sockets.
So if you wait until they come out, you won’t be able to upgrade easily..
